Yoga with Via Sana
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root word "yuj", which means to unite. It symbolizes the union of the individual soul (jivatma) with the universal soul (paramatma). In other words, it enables a state of consciousness where the practitioner is in harmony with his or her surroundings.
Vinyasa yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind.
Yin yoga is an immense opening to introspection. A form of yoga developed from Taoist philosophy, where the vision of the world and material reality finds its expression in the constant play and interaction of Yin and Yang energy.
Yin yoga is courage to listen to yourself and make all the important changes you need in your life. Yin yoga is your ability to connect with your deepest nature, enjoy existence as you are achieving real health and wholeness.
